The XLM450 Series Ultraviolet (UV) Roller Coater for applying a flood UV Coating to enhance product image to a high gloss finish. Also available for UV Satin, UV Matte and AQ Coatings. With the advantage of running Coatings on the finished sheets, we can provide great sheet protection as well as enhancement to the image. UV Coatings dry instantly, so On-Demand turnarounds are ideal. UV Coatings add the protection and durability.

As the use of UV Cured Coatings increases in popularity within the Printing and Packaging Industry, so does the need to understand and monitor the potential for problems. Digital Printing and Offset Printing have many variations in the types of Toner's and Inks that they use. Through our extensive testing, we have identified the right Coatings for all types of printing processes.

As the extremely high gloss of UV Coating exceeds all other coatings (ie. varnish, aqueous coatings and even "in-line" uv coating on press equipment), off-line UV Coating will enhance the surface of whatever it is applied to. In addition, UV Coating does not create environmental problems (as do solvent based coatings) and when cured properly, the UV Coating will polymerize to become a hard layer which in turn provides an excellent protective surface.
